LFW SS20 Looks

By Sophie - September 17, 2019

London Fashion Week is probably the most hectic weekend of my year - but it is worth every second of it. In my third year attending, I still feel a little lost every time I gaze around at the extravagant outfits which seem to have every detail so well planned out and scream "fashion" at you. London has always had more of a street style edge to its fashion week, and I definitely tried to adapt to it in my latter two outfits.

I went for bold but not overwhelming combinations of color and prints this year, albeit very last minute outfit planning led to a couple wardrobe malfunctions, but that's fashion for you...

My first outfit was all about red. The black off-the-shoulder shirt is actually long enough to be a dress, but is translucent, so I tied a scarf around my waist as a skirt. The red of the scarf complemented the coat, heels and bag.
Top: Nasty Gal
Skirt: Vintage
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Bag: Saint Laurent
Coat: Zara

This second look centered around purple. The combination of the mini bag and scarf set the tone. I added a simple pair of leather shorts and cutout bodysuit, and then accessorized with a necklace that mirrored the chain of the bag.

My final outfit was definitely the most daring and well received. A very trendy top paired with a checkered mini skirt (zipper broke hence the slit) and then lace-up shoes that went all the way to the slit (they were so uncomfortable that I literally couldn't stand in them, there is NO SUPPORT whatsoever and they are of a horrid make and the company's customer service is terrible and sure they look fine but beyond that a big MISTAKE).

Shoes: Public Desire (NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Horrid products and customer service!!!!)
Bag: Saint Laurent
